Description

This postcard features a sepia toned image of the depot and depot hotel in Holly Springs, Mississippi. The building is a two story with three-bay end pavilions surmounted by tent-roof towers and a three-bay center pavilion with an ornate pyramidal roof tower. Electric power poles are seen along the sidewalk in front of the building and people are standing at the entrance. A handwritten inscription along the right edge of the image reads "All OK. Depot and Depot Hotel Rather lonesome. N. B." The back of the card is addressed to John H. Jarvis and is postmarked Holley Springs, Mississippi, April 2, 1907.
