Description

This postcard features a black and white image of the buildings on the Blue Mountain Female College campus as seen from a distance. Eight or so buildings of varying sizes are pictured with trees behind them. The title of the card is printed below the bottom edge of the card and an inscription is written beneath it. The back of the card is addressed to Miss Rosa Moddy in Crystal Springs, Mississippi. The card is postmarked Blue Mountain, Miss., December 16, 1907 and Crystal Springs, Miss., December 17. A green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner. "Lila Moody" is signed below a brief paragraph in the lower left corner advertising Blue Mountain College.

The pictures came this morning. We were so happy to get them. You sure were sweet to do that for us. G told Alma that Mama had been sick Is it true? Hope she is better by this time. Hear of Miller Lockwood. What was the cause of his death. Write soon [on the right edge] My love to each of you [sic]
