Description

This postcard features a black and white image of the Methodist Church in Iuka, Mississippi, a one story building with arched windows and doors and a bell tower with a tall steeple. Trees are on either side of the church and in front. The title of the card is printed along the bottom edge of the card. The back of the card is addressed to Mrs. Iris Tovernier in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The card is postmarked Paden, Mississippi June 20, 1949 and a green, one cent George Washington postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner. An inscription is written on the left half of the card. [see transcription field]

Hello, Rec'd your card and thanks a lot. No I don't have any scenic views right now, but remind me next time and I'll send you one of the park in Iuka. I just have about 110 cards in my collection as I just started recently. Sincerely, Madeline Barrett Paden, Miss. Route 2 [sic]
