This postcard features a color illustration of the Aberdeen Hotel in Aberdeen, Mississippi. The hotel is depicted as a large, two story structure with a third story cupola and a long front porch with white columns and railings. Men are depicted as standing on the front steps and leafy green trees partially obscure the left end of the building. The title of the card is printed in the upper right edge of the image. The back of the postcard is addressed to Miss Sophia Tucker in Fayette, Alabama. The card's postmark is too faded to clearly read and a green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner of the card. An inscription is written on the left half of the card. [see the transcription field]
