Description

This postcard features a color illustration of the two story residence of Private John Allen in Tupelo, Mississippi. The house is depicted as having a long front porch with a second story balcony above it. The right end of the front porch is rounded. Three trees ate spaced in front of the house. The title of the card is printed along the top right of the image. The back of the postcard is addressed to Mr. E. L. Simmons in Memphis, Tennessee. The card is postmarked Tupelo, Mississippi, February 25, 1909 and a green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed in the upper right of the card. An inscription on the left half of the card reads "Love to you and NL. E
