This postcard features the oil mill in Houston, Mississippi, a multilevel building with several attached buildings and structures. The main building in the middle is a tiered three level building while a smaller red building is to the left with a smoke stack on the left end. Another large yellow building is the right of the main building. The title of the card is printed in yellow at the bottom right corner of the card. The back of the card is addressed to Miss Irene Steward in Little Rock, Arkansas. The card is postmarked Houston, Mississippi thought the date is missing. A green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner. An inscription is written sideways on the left half of the card. [see transcription field]
Dear Irene, We are now in this city--will return tomorro to O and then to Memphis, reaching have about Thursday. Hope all are well, will tell all the news when I come. Everyone has been perfectly lovely to us--Write much love you. Loulie sends love to each of you. J. F.C. [sic]
