Description
This color postcard features buildings and early twentieth century cars in downtown Hattiesburg, Mississippi. The title along the bottom of the card reads "Front St. From Main, Hattiesburg, Miss." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides creator information as well as indication for correspondence and address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Hattiesburg, Mississippi November 12, 1924. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Miss Myrtle Butler in Liberty, Mississippi.

Wednesday A. M The convention is fine. Great speaches yesterday. Bro. Johnson Bro. Quim, Bro. Edmonds and Bro. McKee all here and asking about Liberty folks. Wish you were here to greet them. Bro. Lane came over with us and is having big times greeting old friends. Hope Liberty has had a rain and everybody is feeling good. We go to Woman's College tonight and will see our girls. Regards to Bro. Butler and yourself. Mrs. Riley [sic]
