Description

This black and white postcard features a river scene with trees either side. The title along the bottom of the card reads "3352 Scene on Bowie River at Mammoth Springs near Hattiesburg, Miss Photo by D. B. Henley" An inscription is written beneath the title. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides indication for correspondence and address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is double postmarked. The first postmark is for Hattiesburg, Mississippi, December 13, 1907 and the second postmark is for Akron, Ohio, December 15, 1907. The card is addressed to Mrs. J. Ruklin in Akron, Ohio.
