Description
This black and white postcard features a view of buildings and horsedrawn buggies on the street. The sign for Hattiesburg Hardware is visible on a building on the right side. The title along the top of the card reads "Main St. Looking East, Hattiesburg, Miss." An inscription is handwritten below the title and along the right edge of the card and the photographer is listed in the lower right corner. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard/carte postal/postal card and provides indication for address and postage stamp placement. The postage stamp appears to have been removed. The card is postmarked Hattiesburg, Mississippi, October 10, 1908 and is addressed to Mrs. J. M. Odell in Tennessee.
