Description
This postcard features a color illustration of people walking along a residential street in Laurel, Mississippi. A brick retaining wall and brick gated pillars are in front of the residences and the house are obscured by lush, green trees that line the retaining wall. The title of the card, printed in red, is in the upper right of the card. The back of the card is addressed to Miss Marie Connors in Mobile, Alabama. The card is postmarked Whistle, Alabama, August 8, 1908 and a green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed in the upper right of the card. An inscription is written on the left half of the card. [see transcription field]

Hello Marie:- How are you enjoying yourself? You said you was tired of vacation. I think that I would like to have it all the time. I am going away the last of Aug. I will have a good time for "you" Bye Bye M. G. [sic]
