This color postcard features a tall monument with a soldier on top, a woman on the left side of the base and a soldier on the right side of the base. 1861-1865 is engraved on the front of the base. The monument is beside a three story red brick building and trees are behind it. The title along the top of the card identifies the scene as "Confederate Monument in Court House Square, Hattiesburg, Miss."
