This postcard features a black and white image of a scene from East Front Street in Hattiesburg, Mississippi with buildings on the left and horse drawn wagons and buggies on the street. The building in the foreground is a two story brick building with a sign for Katz Clothiers across the front and a striped awning over the entrance. The building next to it is a three story brick building with a third story balcony and a small sign over the entrance for I. O.O. F. (Independent Order of Odd Fellows). Five two story buildings are to the right of the I. O. O. F. building. The title of the card is printed sideways on the right edge of the card with the photographer's name printed beneath it. The back of the card is addressed to Mr. C Evenson in Richmond. The card is postmarked Hattiesburg, Miss., July 4, 1907 and a green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed upside down in the upper right corner.
