Description

This postcard features a color illustration of a three story, red brick high school in Laurel, Mississippi. The school buildings has arched entrances and two dormers on the front of the roof. A tree is visible near the back left corner of the building and a tree is visible on the right front with a utility pole beside it. A girl in a peach blouse and blue skirt is pictured standing on the path in front of the building. The title of the card is printed in red in the upper right of the image. The back of the card is addressed to Miss Clella Logne in Firstfork Pennsylvania. The card is postmarked Laurel, Mississippi, June 5, 1908 and a green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner. An inscription is written on the left half of the card. [see transcription field]
