Description

This postcard features a black and white image of a team of ten oxen pulling a wheel wagon that is loaded with logs. Several men are standing behind the oxen among trees. The title of the card is printed beneath the image and an inscription that reads "Aug 31/06 Plenty love from Papa" is written beneath it. The photographer's name is printed in the lower right corner of the card. The back of the card is addressed to Gorgie F. Burke in Louisiana. The card is postmarked Hattiesburg, Mississippi, August 31, 1906 and a green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed in the upper right.
