Description

This postcard features a color image of the Wausau Southern Lumber Company's mill in Laurel, Mississippi. The lumber yard is visible in the foreground with various stacks of lumber and a long building, a building with several smoke stacks, and a silo is visible beyond the lumber yard. The title of the card is printed in red along the top of the image. the back of the card is addressed to Mr. Henry Davenport in Edmond, Michigan and postmarked Laurel, Mississippi, December 16, 1913. A green, one cent San Francisco 1915 postage stamp is in the upper right corner. An inscription is written diagonally on the left half of the card. [see transcription field]
