Description
This postcard features a color illustration of a three story, red brick high school in Laurel, Mississippi. The school buildings has arched entrances and two dormers on the front of the roof. A tree is visible near the back left corner of the building and a tree is visible on the right front with a utility pole beside it. A girl in a peach blouse and blue skirt is pictured standing on the path in front of the building. The title of the card is printed in red in the upper right of the image. An inscription addressed to Miss Grace G. Wald in Chicago, Illinois is written on the back and the card is postmarked Laurel, Mississippi, January 8, 1909. A green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is in the upper right corner.
