Description

This color postcard features buildings in downtown Hattiesburg, Mississippi, with people and horses and buggies on the street. The title on the bottom of the card reads "Front Street, Looking West, Hattiesburg, Miss." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides indication for address and postage stamp placement. A green postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Hattiesburg, Mississippi, April 21, 1911. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Mr. J. J. Buswell in Lumberton, New Jersey. "Missent" is stamped in purple ink in the upper left corner.
