Description
This black and white postcard features a view of people and horsdrawn buggies in the street with buildings on either side. The front building on the left is identified as the First National Bank and the front building on the right is identified as Hawkins and Co. The title along the top of the card reads "Pine Street looking East from Main St., Hotel Hattiesburg is inthe distance, Hattiesburg, Miss." The back of the postcard featuring buildings and people on Pine St. identifies the item as a postcard and provides indication for correspondence and address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked November 22, 1911. The city is not legible on the postmark. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Mr. F. Guthill in Cortland, New York.
