Description

This typed invitation reads "The Mississippi State House Commission extends to you a cordial invitation to be present at the Laying of the Corner Stone of the New State House in the City of Jackson, Mississippi Wednesday, June 3, 1903. L. T. Fitzhugh Jr. Secretary, A. H. Longino, Governor, Chairman, Wm. Williams, Attorney General, R. H. Thompson, W. G. Stovall, R. A. Dean, Commissioners." The invitation is yellowed and stained. The back of the invitation has handwritten descriptions and information on each end of the paper.
