Description
This postcard features a black and white image of the Naval Memorial at the Vicksburg National Military Park in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Per the Park's website, "At 202 feet in height, the Navy Memorial is the tallest monument in Vicksburg National Military Park. It is a tribute to the officers and sailors of the U.S. Navy who served in the Vicksburg Campaign. At the base of the monument are four statues of the fleet commanders, Admirals Farragut and Porter, and Flag Officers Davis and Foote." The title of the card is printed along the bottom edge of the image and "Also Vicksburg Park" is handwritten along the top edge of the image.
