Description

This postcard features a color illustration of a Presbyterian Church in Vicksburg, Mississippi, a two story Gothic style church with a bell tower on the right corner, arched windows and circular stained glass windows on the second story. Trees on the left partially obscure the left side of the church. Sept 8 10 AM is stamped in the upper left of the image. The back of the card is addressed to Sear's Robuck and Co., Chicago, Illinois and is postmarked Chicago, Illinois September 7, 1916. A green, one cent George Washington postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and an inscription is written on the left half of the card. [see transcription field]
