Description

This color postcard features a wagon loaded with bales of cotton and two men. The wagon is drawn by four horses down a dirt road with a field behind them. The title in the upper left identifies the scene as "Going to Market, Vicksburg, Miss." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information and indication for postage stamp placement. A handwritten description of the front of the card is written across the length of the card.
