Description

This color postcard features a narrow two story building with four white columns across the front and a clock and bell tower in the center of the roof. A long set of stairs leads up a hill from the street to the building and the hill is cut to mimic the levels of the stairs. Trees are visible at the sidewalk and to the sides of the building. The title in the upper left reads "Court House, Vicksburg, Miss." An inscription is handwritten in the area beneath the title. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information as well as indication for address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Vicksburg, Mississippi, November 19, 1908. The card is addressed to Mrs. F. C. Hughston in Tucson, Arizona.
