This color postcard features a panoramic river-view of Vicksburg with steamboats at the shore and the city buildings seen behind. The title, "Vicksburg, Miss." is beneath the left edge of the image and the publisher information is in the lower right corner of the image. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information as well as indication for correspondence, address, and postage stamp placement. The postage stamp has been removed and the card is postmarked Vicksburg, Mississippi, June 16, 1908. The card is inscribed and is addressed to C Rearing in Portland, Oregon.
