Description
This postcard features a color illustration of four Black people standing in a body of water to be baptized. The man in the center right is wearing a white blindfold over his eyes while the other three men face him. A crowd of people are gathered on the bank of the water observing the baptism. The title of the card is printed in red along the top of the image. The back of the card is addressed to Miss Josie Kraut in Dubuque, Iowa and is postmarked Natchez, Mississippi, January 29, 1915. A green, one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and an inscription is written on the left half of the card.

Dear Friend supose you will be surprised to here I am at Natchez Miss. This sure is a wonderful place but 9/10 of the people are negros. I will leave Sun. for Greir Michagain so write me there as allways Otto [sic]
