Description
This color cartoon postcard features a naval ship with sailors in blue uniforms lined up on the edge of the upper deck while two naval officers in white uniform approach them from the lower deck. A flag line on the upper deck is flying several flags and a person appears to be hanging onto the line, as well, as though flying with the flags. A man with a mustache and blue and white uniform is drawn as walking in circles in the forefront of the outer deck. A ship can be seen in the distance on the water. The caption in a text bubble above the officers in white uniform reads "The Admiral wants to see the signal man." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information as well as indication for correspondence and postage stamp placement.
