Description

This color postcard features a white ship with a red hull docked at a ship yard. Buildings, water, and equipment are also pictured. The title along the bottom of the postcard reads "Portsmouth, Va. Water Front, Portsmouth Navy Yard, landing place of the Battle Ships." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information, as well as, indication for correspondence and address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner. The postmark is illegible. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Miss. Olga Ganz in Alma, Wisconsin.
