This black and white picture postcard features a ten ships in harbor in Brest, France. A group of structures are on the coast, pictured in the right side of the photo. he title along the bottom of the photo reads "Brest.--Pointe du Fer a Cheval, l'Escadre et le Goulet. --The Squadron and the channel." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a Carte Postale (postcard) and provides indication for correspondence, address, and postage stamp placement.
