Description
This black and white picture postcard features two sailors in dirty white uniforms standing near a five inch gun on the deck of a Navy ship. The sailor on the left is wearing a white hat and is staring downward at the gun. The sailor on the right is holding open the door on the gun and smiling at the camera with a smoking pipe in his mouth. A life preserver with "Utah" on the top half is secured to the deck railing behind the sailor on the right. The back of the postcard is partially cut off. The address and postage stamp directions indicate that the item is a postcard. A handwritten description is in the center of the card.
