Description
This black and white picture postcard features a fleet of ships on the water in the distance, partially obscured by dark smoke. The title in the bottom center reads "View of Smoke Screen used to Protect the Minelaying Fleet in the Background." A text bubble in the lower left corner reads "US Signal Corps PhotoPreProduced by Photo Repro Co NY By Permission Bureau War Photographs." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides indication for correspondence and address placement.
