Description

This color postcard features a flat naval ship with a single large funnel, a single pole mast, and sailors in dark uniforms on deck. The ship is on the open water with a yellow sunset behind it. A United States flag flies from the stern of the ship. The image of an eagle in the center of two crossed United States flags is in the upper left corner. The title in the lower left of the card reads "U. S. S. Miantonomah." Copyright information is barely visible in the lower right of the image. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information, as well as, indication for address and postage stamp placement.
