Description

This sepia toned picture postcard features a naval ship in a dry dock with buildings behind it. The title along the top of the card reads "U. S. S. Oregon in dry dock, Navy Yard, Puget Sound, Washington. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information, as well as indication for correspondence, address, and postage stamp placement. The postage stamp area is damaged where the stamp was removed. The card is postmarked Bremerton, Washington, April 10. The year on the postmark is illegible. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Mr. Guy Whitney in Winona, Mississippi.
