Description

This color postcard features a naval ship on the water with a small boat near the stern. A United States flag flies from the stern. The three funnels/stacks are reflected in the water. The image of an eagle in the center of two crossed United States flags is in the upper left corner of the card. The title in the lower left reads "U. S. S. Iowa." Copyright information is in the lower right of the image. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information, as well as, indication for address and postage stamp placement. The image of an eagle carrying a United States flag shield is in the upper left corner.
