Description
This color postcard features a white naval ship in the open water with land in the distance. Four funnels/stacks are in the center of the ship with smoke emitting from one of them. Two large masts flank the funnels and three smaller pole masts on the stern of the ship. The image of an eagle in the center of two crossed United States flags is in the upper left corner of the card. The title in the lower left of the card reads "U. S. S. Columbia." Copyright information is in the lower right of the image. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information, as well as, indication for address and postage stamp placement. The image of an eagle carrying a United States flag shield is in the upper left corner.
