Description

This sepia toned picture postcard features a naval ship in the open water. The ship bears a single pole mast and two funnels/stacks. Flags fly from each end of the ship. An inscription is written sideways on the right side. The handwritten title in the lower left corner reads "U. S. S. Indiana" and copyright information is in the lower right corner. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information, as well as, indication for address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right and the card is postmarked March 24, 1906, the location is illegible. The card is addressed to Mr. R. S. Bolling in Edna, Texas.
