Description

This color postcard features a small lifeboat approaching a sailboat while a large naval ship is in the background. The lifeboat appears to have a United States flag on it. The large naval ship has the number 29 on the bow. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard that was made in Nippon, Japan. Instructions are in Japanese characters in the upper left, the center, and along the right edge. The postage stamp box in the upper right corner is in the shape of a flower with Japanese characters in it.
