Description

This color postcard features a naval ship in a dry dock with buildings seen behind it. The title along the bottom of the card reads "1192 Dry Dock Puget Sound Naval Station Washington." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information as well as indication for correspondence placement and instructions for the type of postage stamp to use. A green one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Silvana, Washington, June 26, 1908. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Miss. Sophia Rinwald in St. Paul Minnesota.
