Description

This color picture postcard features four navy sailors in uniform posing behind two female country club servers dressed in colorful costumes and hats and holding baskets of food items. A woman in a broad rimmed hat is looking over the shoulder of the sailor on the far right. The group are standing in front of a building. The title along the bottom of the card reads "Blue jackets from Great Lakes Naval Training Station As Guests at Southshore Country Club, Chicago." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher and artist information as well as indication for correspondence, address, and postage stamp placement.
