Description

This black and white postcard features a pencil sketch of the Unite States Naval Battleship, the Oregon in choppy waters. Smoke is depicted as coming from the funnel or stacks. A spotted flat flies from the bow and a United States flag flies from the stern. The title "Oregon Battleship" is in the upper left corner of the card. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides indication for correspondence, address, and postage stamp placement. The card inscribed and addressed to Albert Sather and Lillie Longesth in Elma, Wisconsin.
