Description

In this handwritten letter, William Etta "Willie" Webb writes to her mother-in-law, Matilda Ann "Lit" Boyd Webb in Kosciusko, Mississippi to apologize for taking so long to write her back, explaining that she had been visiting her niece. She goes on to talk about the weather and how the rain has ruined many of the crops. She discusses her daughter's desire to visit the family in Mississippi during summer and how school work drains her so badly.
