Description

This black and white photograph shows a Mississippi State Highway Department truck dumping noval starch scrap and waste on the bank of Hobolochitto creek. Trees and bushes can be seen behind the truck and dumped waste. "State Highway Dept insignia" with an arrow pointing the truck door is written in red marker on the image and the identification of what is taking place in the photo is written in red beneath the photo. The photograph is identified as having been taken the week of August 11, 1969.
