Description
This black and white photograph shows three signs promoting candidates for the Jackson, Mississippi mayoral election. The sign on the left reads "Doug Shanks. For a Jackson we can live with. Mayor." The sign in the middle reads "Elect Henry Kirksey Mayor". The sign on the right reads "Dale Danks for Mayor." A white four-door car and a dark four door car are seen parked behind the Kirksey sign and stop lights, buildings, and electrical poles and lines are visible behind the cars. Note: The date listed for this photograph is an estimate as the original photograph is undated.
