Description

This black and white photograph shows Jackson, Mississippi mayoral candidate, Doug Shanks standing with his wife while speaking into television newscast microphones during a campaign event. Three men are pictured to the left of shanks, one of whom is holding a JDX microphone and a man's arm is seen reaching in front of Shanks' wife with a microphone. A lamp and a small television monitor are seen beside and behind Shanks' wife and campaign posters are seen on the stone wall behind Shanks.
