Description
This black and white photograph shows a portion of the Victorian Christmas tree on display for "Christmas of the Old Capitol" The typed caption below reads "A detail of the Victorian Christmas tree on display as part of "Christmas at the Old Capitol," shows the lace fans and hand-painted wooden ornaments common during that time. "Christmas at the Old Capitol," December 9-31, also features a giant Christmas tree in the rotunda, train track display, silhouettes exhibit, and antique dolls and toys. Special events include movies, concerts, and craft demonstrations."
