Description

This black and white photograph shows a view of the buildings, storefronts, and skyscrapers on Capitol street in the early to mid 1980's. Storefronts visible are Gulf Finance, Central News and Novelty, People's Café, Cohen Brothers, Lott Furniture, and Liberty Loans. The Deposit Guaranty Building is seen on the left and a sliver of the Old Capitol is visible at the far end of the street.
