Description
This black and white photograph shows a view of the buildings and storefronts in downtown Jackson, Mississippi on Capitol Street. Some of the storefronts include Gulf Finance, People's Café, Lott Furniture, Wards, Mayflower Café and the South Central Bell building. The Old Capitol Building is in view at the far end of the street. Cars are seen parked on either side of the street as well as driving on the street and people are seen walking on the sidewalks.
