Description

In this letter, dated September 25, 1947, Sallie W. Simmons writes to her niece, Eunice J. Stockwell to let her know that she was in Fayette after a visit to Baton Rouge. She speaks of the hurricane than came through while she was there and her trip back to Mississippi. She goes on to talk of Eunice's new nephew, Wade Wineman, Jr. as well as her own grandchildren.
