Description

In this letter, dated October 30, 1947, Sallie W. Simmons writes to her niece, Eunice J. Stockwell to inform her of oil having been discovered on land near some land the family owns. She advises her on how to respond should she be contacted to sell royalties. She goes on to discuss her health and the recent babies in the family.
