Description

In this letter, dated March 12, 1947, Fairfax County, Virginia Circuit Court Clerk, Thomas P. Chapman, Jr. writes to Eunice J. Stockwell to advise her that the circuit court does not hold tax lists no do they hold church records. He recommends she search for the tax lists at the Virginia State Library and advises that she will need to write to the Rectors of individual churches for church records. The letter is typed on Clerk's Office of Circuit Court of Fairfax County, Fairfax, Virginia letterhead. the letterhead contains an illustration of the Virginia seal in the upper left corner.
