Description

A pamphlet detailing the influence of the state of Illinois on President Lincoln's life and presidency. The cover of the pamphlet consists of the title, the author, the seal of the state of Illinois, and a note from the publisher reading "Reprinted from the Transactions of the Illinois State Historical Society for the year 1921." A photo of Abraham Lincoln with banners above and below him reading "EX LIBRIS" and "C. E. SIMMONS" is on the inside of the cover.
